ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS City of Ogdensburg St. Lawrence County, New York Maple City Trail Shoreline Resiliency Improvements CONTRACT NO. 1 – GENERAL Sealed Bids for the construction of Maple City Trail Shoreline Resiliency Improvements will be received by the City of Ogdensburg, at the Office of the City Clerk, 330 Ford Street, Ogdensburg, New York 13669, until 2:00 p.m. local time on April 21, 2022 , at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Project includes: removal and reconstruction of 1,200 linear feet of existing shoreline retaining wall along the Oswegatchie River, reconfiguration of approximately 1,900 linear feet of existing pedestrian trail, asphalt paving, trees and landscape plantings, replacement of site lighting and associated electrical power, and related site work and improvements. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract: Contract No. 1 – General, which includes all work. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, as
indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Plan & Print Systems, Inc., 6160 Eastern Avenue, Syracuse, New York 13211, phone number 1-800-924-5145. Bidding Documents are available for searching and viewing at www.planandprint.com . Click on “Public Plan Room” below PlanWell® logo on homepage. Prospective Bidders may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents may also be examined, by appointment, Monday through Thursday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at no expense at: City of Ogdensburg Department of Planning & Development, 330 Ford Street, First Floor, Suite 6, Ogdensburg, New York 13669. Bidding Documents may also be viewed at the Syracuse Builder’s Exchange ( www.syrabex.com ), Northern New York Builder’s Exchange ( www.nnybe.com ), and Dodge Data & Analytics ( www.construction.com ). Bidding Documents may be ordered by registering with the Issuing Office (Plan & Print Systems, Inc., www.planandprint.com ). Following registration and payment of a non-refundable cost of $25 (payable to Plan & Print Systems, Inc.), complete sets of Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the Issuing Office’s website as portable document format (PDF) files or provided on compact disc. Printing and associated costs will be the responsibility of each party acquiring the Bidding Documents. Prospective Bidders must be registered with the Issuing Office to receive notice of addenda.
