12XX Weapons and Ammo

SYNOPSIS: The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) intends to issue a separate solicitation to purchase various commercial weapons to include U.S. weapons, foreign weapons, accessories and ammunition based on the individual demands from multiple Contingency Operations (CONOPS).  This will be a total small business set-aside. Potential offerors are required to possess a current Directorate Defense Trade Control Brokering License (K license). The Prime shall also hold Federal Firearms Licenses Type 11 Importer of Destructive Devices, Ammunition for Destructive Devices, or Armor Piercing Ammunition at the time of solicitation. The contractor shall also show performance in the past three years of their ability to support the type requirements identified in the Statement of Work. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; no submissions are requested at this time. A formal Solicitation will be issued in the coming weeks and will be linked to this Synopsis.
