Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value)The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center – Pacific requires hull repair and re-coating of two (2) each 28 foot mono-hull dive boats assigned to NOAA Ship Thomas Jefferson.This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.(ii) Solicitation number NM-AN2120-23-00271-1 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ).(iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-08.(iv) The NAICS code for this acquisition is 336611, Ship Repair; the small business size standard is 1,250 Employees.(v) Line
items are as follows:CLIN 1: TJ-1 – HRN 2903 Corrosion repair and repaintingCLIN 2: TJ-2 – HRN 2904.Corrosion repair and repainting(vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: The vendor is to provide the items in CLINs 1 and 2 per the attached statement of work. Site visits can be scheduled no later than December 6, 2022 by emailing Shelia.dailey@noaa.gov.(vii) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and FOB point.
