The purpose of this solicitation is to establish providers of fuel and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) delivery services on a scheduled and as needed basis for the School District of Manatee County. Services are to include “wet fueling” vehicles/equipment directly from the fuel delivery vehicle at designated locations. This solicitation is intended to fuel diesel buses/equipment, however gasoline vehicles/equipment may be added throughout the contract period, if needed. The District intends to implement remote fueling of ten (10) buses at Parrish Community High School, located at 7505 Fort Hamer Road, Parrish, Florida 34219. This site does not currently house fuel tanks, therefore “wet fueling” will be completed on these vehicles. Fuel usage for these buses is anticipated at approximately 250 gallons of diesel per day. DEF will also need to be added to these vehicles. The District will request scheduled fueling of these vehicles as determined. The District may modify the number of vehicles, location(s), type of vehicle/equipment, and product(s) purchased throughout the contract period. Specifications and the quality standards of service set forth in this bid. The District intends to award this solicitation to multiple suppliers, as best meets the needs of the District. It is anticipated that the bidder(s) who propose the best pricing may be utilized in a larger capacity, however the District may choose any awarded supplier to provide these services that best meets its needs. This may include but is not limited to pricing, scheduling, etc. Contract Value: No guarantee is given or implied as to the total dollar value of this bid. NOTE: The Contractor must agree that during a declared disaster situation that any bid items with a markup will be billed at actual cost without any mark-up
