50840 Proposal To Amend A State Airport Land Lease at Peninsula Point Seaplane Facility

PROPOSAL TO AMEND A STATE AIRPORT LAND LEASE:  The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to increase the area of Lease ADA-50840, Lot 1, Block 100, by an additional 3,170.04 square feet for a total consisting of approximately 70,204.04 square feet, at the Peninsula Point Seaplane Facility, to expire August 1, 2024.  Applicant:  South East Air & Sea, LLC.  Annual rent:  $28,432.64.  Authorized uses:  Aeronautical - Maintenance and operation of an aircraft hangar and aeronautical fuel storage facilities; operation of a commercial aeronautical business consisting of air taxi services, aircraft maintenance and aircraft tiedown; fuel dispensing for lessee’s aircraft only.    Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., May 21, 2022, after which the Department will determine whether or not to amend the lease.  The Department’s decision will be sent only to persons who submit written comment or objection to the Department, at the address and by the date and time specified in this notice, and include their return address.  Information is available from Sharyn Augustine, Statewide Aviation Leasing, PO Box 112505, Juneau, AK 99811-2505, phone (907) 465-6893 or fax (907) 465-1395 or email sharyn.augustine@alaska.gov.  Anyone needing hearing impaired accommodation may call TDD (907) 451-2363.   The Department reserves the right to correct technical defects, term, or purposes and may reject any or all
