A. AMENDMENT 0002: The purpose of this Amendment is to amend the previously provided Performance Work Statement (PWS), provide the anticipated quantities required, and to update the Request for Information (RFI) closing date, as follows: (1) The PWS is revised, as follows: (a.) By amending PWS to change references of “BPA” and “Call (Task) Order” to read either “contract,” “Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity,” and/or “Task Order.”​​​​​​​ (b.) By adding information to Para C.3.2.2 in reference to Global Information Assurance Certification. (2) The government estimates a need for approximately 70 to 145 courses per year. (3) The “Response Date” to this RFI Notice is changed from “April 10, 2023,” to: “April 17, 2023.”B. Vendors are highly encouraged to submit a capability package demonstrating their capability to provide same or comparable services in accordance with this RFI notice and its’ attachments. The PWS and Atch 1 Course Information are provided as a sample of the
government’s minimum needs. The purpose of this notice is for market research and developing the government’s acquisition strategy only. The RFI notice is not a formal Request for Quote, Proposal or Offer. AMENDMENT 0001: The purpose of this Amendment is to make necessary changes, revisions, and updates to the previously posted Request for Information (RFI) 2032H323N00010, as follows:By revising the “Response Date” to this RFI Notice from “April 3, 2023,” to: “April 10, 2023.” By providing a copy of the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) and removing all on-site training requirements (i.e., PWS, Paras C.3.2, C.3.2.3.2, and C.6). All training will be conducted virtually. There will be no travel requirements in performance of the required services.By updating Attachment 1 Course Information by adding a brief description for each required course: a) ​​Spelling out all acronyms when used in first instance, and, b) Deleting GIAC949, GIAC679 and In Person Training Fee requirements.B. Vendors are highly encouraged to submit a capability package demonstrating their ability to provide same or comparable services in accordance with this RFI notice and its’ attachments. DESCRIPTION Treasury’s Enterprise Applications (Enterprise Apps), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) is conducting Market Research to determine available sources for a potential requirement exists. This is a Request for Information (RFI) (hereinafter Notice). This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, request for bids or quotations, nor, a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. The purpose of this RFI is for the Government to obtain knowledge and information for project planning purposes only. A copy of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Attachment 1 Course Areas of Interest is attached for informational purposes in reference to the government’s requirement.2. DETAIL STATEMENTSThe Government has interest in and is seeking information regarding the capability of providing specialized cybersecurity training courses and certifications for Treasury-wide use. These courses will help facilitate the development of current federal EAC employees, future EAC employees, and other DO offices requiring specialized cybersecurity training and certifications. Enterprise Applications has identified a need to establish a BPA for specialized cybersecurity training courses & certifications from leading industry provider per Treasury Directive 85-01 (TREASURY DIRECTIVE 85-01 | U.S. Department of the Treasury). These courses will help facilitate the development of current Treasury employees, future Treasury employees, and other DO offices requiring specialized cybersecurity training & certifications. Treasury reserves the right to update the course list of trainings as new courses are developed and offered to keep pace with the growing and changing cyber threats. Should such a need arise, it will require prior Contracting Officer approval.3. REQUESTED INFORMATIONThe North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this request may likely include 611420 Computer Training. SMALL BUSINESSES ARE ENCOURAGED TO RESPOND. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After a review of the responses received, a pre-solicitation synopsis and solicitation may be published in Government Point of Entry or other similar source (e.g. GSA E-buy). However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation.Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract or agreement.
