Satellite Service for Transport of CBC/RC Specialty Service Project Description :CBC/Radio-Canada is seeking Proposals from industry in response to its Request for Proposal (“RFP) for Satellite Service for Transport of CBC/Radio-Canada Specialty Services. 1. SUMMARY OF REQUIRED GOODS/SERVICES:The objective of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to establish a Goods/Services agreement for all CBC\Radio-Canada locations across Canada. 2. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:This RFP is open only to Proponents who meet each of the following mandatory requirement included in the Appendix A Scope of Work. The Proponent must confirm that the proposed Services are from a Fixed Satellite Service (FSS) satellite that is approved and authorized by Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) for use in Canada. Canadian licences and authorization are regulated by the Government of Canada and associated information is available on their website: http://www.ic.gc.ca/eic/site/smt-gst.nsf/eng/h_sf01878.html Proponents must respond to each of the requirements outlined in the scope of work with written evidence. Indicating “Yes” or “Comply” is not a complete answer and further detail is required to support the claim that the Proponent currently meets each of the mandatory requirements.To supplement their response (if applicable) a Proponent can provide any additional information as a separate document. 3.
