City of Gonzales hereby REQUEST QUALIFICATIONS for Professional Environmental Consultant Services Request for Qualifications will be received by the City of Gonzales at City Hall, 120 S. Irma Boulevard, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737 until, March 28th, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. local time for the following: CITY OF GONZALES REQUEST QUALIFICATIONS FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES FOR Environmental Consultant Services The City of Gonzales invites interested environmental firms, qualified to provide a (NEPA) National Environmental Policy Act assessment pertaining to projects funded by the (EPA) U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, to submit a Statement of Qualifications. The City intends to award a professional service contract for professional environmental clearance services as required to meet EPA regulations. Environmental Clearance is required to proceed with EPA agreement for solar panel installation at the City of Gonzales Environmental Enhancement Facility (wastewater treatment

facility). The project is funded with federal funding and many federal regulations will be included in the professional service contract. Firms will be evaluated based upon professional qualifications, specialized experience, cost reasonableness, and technical competence related to environmental assessments and permitting through (EPA). Additionally, firms are required to limit their qualification packages experience pertinent to satisfying federal (NEPA) National Environmental Policy Act requirements. A single firm will be chosen by the City of Gonzales selection team. The City of Gonzales selection team will be comprised of a minimum of three (3) city employees or administrators directly responsible for City funding and facilities. Interested consultant teams shall submit their qualification on standard form titled “Gonzales Professional Services Qualifications Statement”. To request the standard forms, project selection documents or submit questions regarding the RFQ, all inquiries should be directed to Mrs. Jackie Baumann, Chief Engineer, via email ONLY at jackie@gonzalesla.com no later than 3 o’clock pm, March 21st, 2024, with responses given via email by 10 o’clock am, March 25th, 2024. The submittal documents must be delivered in a sealed envelope or box that is clearly identified on the outside as “Statement of Qualifications for Environmental Consultant Services”. The City requests that four (4) hard copies and one (1) electronic copy of the proposals be submitted.For the electronic copy, please submit via CD or USB flash drive.http://www.centralauctionhouse.com. The City of Gonzales reserves the right to disqualify any response to a Request for Qualifications if it is determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana.
