Added: Sep 29, 2017 1:20 pm The Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA), under the auspices of the Department of Defense (DoD) Trusted and Assured Microelectronics (T&AM) Program, is seeking sources for obtaining, in the near-term, a SOTA assured FPGA product family to support U.S. Government (USG) needs, including: • Access to assured commercial FPGA technology through piloting of secure design and/or supply chain environments and tools to protect Intellectual Property (IP) confidentiality and integrity. • Developing and making available assured IP and bitstream generation Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools for Department of Defense (DoD) and government-wide use. • Technologies to enhance commercial FPGA security features. • Use of best practices and tools to enhance commercial FPGA assurance throughout the lifecycle. • Access to design artifacts and improved testability to facilitate independent (IV&V) of commercial FPGA components. • An objective requirement to employ DMEA-accredited Trusted design facilities, Trusted packaging facilities, and a domestic wafer manufacturer in the supply chain.
