RELEASE DATE: May 7, 2020 CLOSING DATE: Proposals must be received by 4:00 p.m. on May 22, 2020 at the address listed below. START DATE: Consultant must be available to commence work by June 1, 2020. Anticipated project completion date is December 2021. PROJECT TITLE: KLRHC Housing Rehabilitation Home Inspector CONTACT PERSON: Betty Riley, Executive Director Klamath Lake Regional Housing Center betty@ scoedd.org (541) 884-5593. INFORMATION: The Klamath Lake Regional Housing Center is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization formed in 1999 to serve the development needs of the communities in of Klamath and Lake Counties. The KLRHC purpose includes providing decent housing affordable to low and moderate income people and engaging in activities which serve such residents’ needs for community and economic development and community self-help, in order to help such residents achieve selfsufficiency; undertaking community economic development, neighborhood revitalization or other activities to combat community deterioration; and providing and engaging in other activities and services that are necessary or appropriate to carry out these purposes. KLRHC is looking to contract with a Home Inspector who will assist in the assessment of homes to implementation of the Housing Rehabilitation Program. Work under this contract will be funded in part with federal funds from the Oregon Community Development Block Grant Program.
