The project requires\nskilled trades for Mechanical HVAC (including crane), Electrical, and window/glass removal
and\nreplacement.\n\nKent County will evaluate responsive submissions for both the all-inclusive project cost and individual\nline item (skilled trade). Kent County reserves the rightto award to multiple Respondents for each line\nitem, one Respondent for the entire project, or reject any or all submissions. Kent County, in its sole\ndiscretion, reserves the right to weigh any and all factors in the decision and award to the Respondent(s)\ndeemed most advantageous to Kent County. Award recommendation will be no later than 30 days with\nanticipated start date of mid-April.\n\nBID OPENING\n\nThe sealed responses will be publicly opened and read aloud by the Kent County Purchasing Division.\nThe health and safety of the community is a top priority; therefore, Kent County Purchasing Division is\nshifting all public openings to remote conference access only. Click here to join the public opening.\n\nSCOPE\n\nThis project consists of the demolition and removal of one existing steam absorption water chiller atthe\nKent County Courthouse from the 11\u201c floor machinery room and replacement with new centrifugal\nwater-cooled chiller of nominal 500 tons capacity into same location of removed chiller.
