Armed Services Blood Bank Center at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) has a requirement to procure consumables for the ACP-215 Automated Cell Processing System, designed to wash and rejuvenate frozen red blood cells. If the listed consumables: De-Glyce 325ml and Nutrient Additive Solution Formula are not available, the Armed Services Blood Bank Center would be unable to train Medical Laboratory Technicians from across the National Capital Region on this procedure and produce red blood cell units for the DoD’s Blood Contingency Program.THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS and no solicitation exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including cost and capabilities, sufficient to determine a contractor's ability in providing these same consumables. All capability statements received by closing of this notification of this synopsis will be considered by the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
