USAID Health Learning

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Nepal is conducting market research to understand more about Nepali organizations that are interested and capable of implementing a potential new activity, “USAID Health Learning.” This planned activity will assist USAID/Nepal's Health Office and its implementing partners (IPs) in adopting rigorous and systematic monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning (MERL) activities for adaptive activity management, and to advance broader organizational learning and development efforts. Interventions under the USAID Health Learning activity will support the monitoring and evaluation of health activities that align with USAID/Nepal’s Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS) 2020-2025 (link: https://www.usaid.gov/nepal/cdcs), particularly Development Object Three, which aims to strengthen inclusive health and education systems. Under this activity, a wide range of technical assistance will be provided to USAID/Nepal’s Health Office, its IPs, and local MERL organizations. The areas of support will primarily focus on: 1) design and implementation of surveys, assessments, and research; 2) knowledge management; and 3) MERL capacity building of USAID/Nepal Health Office supported local organizations and Government of Nepal (GON) institutions to improve data management and use at the provincial and municipal levels.
