Chemical Structure Drawing Software

The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis IAW FAR 13.5 with PerkinElmber Informatics, Inc. This requirement is for a subscription to a Chemical Structure Drawing Software for thirty (30) users that is compatible with Windows & Macintosh and meets all the Minimum Essential Characteristics (MECs). The chemical drawing software subscription shall be delivered electronically and the subscription shall be renewed yearly for each option period. The contractor will not be responsible for the installation of the software. The period of performance will be one base year plus four option periods. The vendor meets all minimum requirements and has historically provided ET with the ChemDraw Professional software. The ChemDraw Professional software meets all of ET’s needs. This vendor is the developer of the ChemDraw software and the only source where it can be acquired. Other software with similar services were targeted more toward students rather than professionals and scientists. Please see attached Minimum Essential Characteristics
