Bid Title:Request for Proposal for City Attorney Services Category:AdministrationStatus:Open Description: The City of Arroyo Grande is requesting interested full-service law firms with experience advising and representing California municipalities to submit proposals to provide legal services to the City of Arroyo Grande. An individual from the firm will be designated as the City Attorney, with other firm attorneys to be available as appropriate. The firm must possess a broad knowledge of municipal law, including open meetings laws, contracts, planning and land use, real estate, revenue laws, the Public Records Act, and code enforcement. Familiarity with labor law, state and federal court practice, tort defense, workers’ compensation, and water law is also expected, although the City retains the right to continue retaining specialized counsel.
