In School Branch Banking

Williamsburg James City County Public Schools (“WJCC”) is requesting proposals from qualified, interested parties to provide  In- School Branch Banking for three (3) high schools. The In- School Banking Branch will be designed to provide a multidisciplinary method to reinforce, augment, and support the objectives of the Standards of Learning for Mathematics, English, History and Social Science, Computer Technology, and the Career and Technical Education competencies through practical educational experiences that (a) allows students to apply mathematical concepts, communication and computer technology skills, and knowledge of economic principles; (b) allows students to develop proficiency in basic life skills pertaining to money management, personal finance, banking, commerce and trade, and investments, (c) facilitates financial literacy and an understanding of the American economic system, Virginia economy, the global economic system, and the effect of personal finance decisions on the national and state economic systems; and (d) permits students to explore entrepreneurships and career options in banking and finance.   Questions regarding this RFP should be submitted in writing via email to: Sherell.Murphy @jamescitycountyva.gov by not later than 2:00 pm on June 11, 2020.
