The surrounding neighbourhood features numerous parks and shopping plazas. This development is adjacent to the 10-storey 400 McCowan Road development. The scope of work refers only to the east portion of 2-storey townhouses consisting of units 30-60 for a total of thirty-one (31) townhouses spread over 4-blocks. These townhouses are constructed of wood frame structure and masonry façade. Parging has been added as a top layer to the masonry over the years to most structures in attempt to rectify water infiltration concerns. Water infiltration has
led to mould concerns within residential units. Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC) is seeking a Vendor for the provision of design services at 410 McCowan Rd. TCHC will be awarding all phases to the highest scored Proposal. This RFP Category of Work is categorized as Design & Engineering (D&E).
