23004 Invasive Plant Management at Multiple Forest Preserves

Owner invites sealed Bidder’s Proposals for the Work described in detail in the Contract and generally described as follows: The District invites bids for five (5) projects to control invasive herbaceous and woody plants. All projects are hourly based and are to be bid individually. Project 1 is at Cuba Marsh Forest Preserve. Project 2 is at Middlefork Savanna Forest Preserve. Project 3 is at Grant Woods Forest Preserve. Project 4 is at Fort Sheridan Forest Preserve. Project 5 is Teasel (Dipsacus spp.) Control Only at Heron Creek, Raven Glen, Wadsworth Savanna, Grainger Woods, Independence Grove, Lake Carina and Prairie Wolf Forest Preserves. Bidders can bid on one, two, three, four or all five projects. Details of each Project are described under Attachment B, Section 1. The Work shall be performed at the following Work Sites: # 1. Cuba Marsh Forest Preserve, Lake Zurich, Illinois # 2. Middlefork Savanna Forest Preserve, Lake Forest, Illinois # 3. Grant Woods Forest Preserve, Ingleside, Illinois # 4. Fort Sheridan Forest Preserve, Lake Forest, Illinois # 5. Project 5 - Teasel (Dipsacus spp.) Control Only at but not limited to Heron Creek, Raven Glen, Wadsworth Savanna, Grainger Woods, Independence Grove, Lake Carina and Prairie Wolf Forest
