Department:Information Technology Project Name: Wide Area Network Services Bidding Dates: 07/10/2017through 08/08/2017(Today is 08-07-2017) Description: The City of Canton (City) currently has a Wide Area Fiber Network through AT&T on their Opteman platform. The current contracts begin to expire on February 20, 2018. The City is requesting proposals in order to evaluate service providers’ solutions. Factors that would be involved in the assessment include: bandwidth/cost analysis; guaranteed, proven and personalized customer support preferably with a single point of contact; simple billing format with dedicated billing representative; use of new, established technologies (such as SD-WAN); and history of successful references with similar network profiles.
