Purchase & Delivery of clear southern rock salt

The City of DeKalb, IL will accept sealed bids for Purchase and delivery of clear southern rock salt for City of DeKalb – Water Department’s five potable water treatment plants. Clear southern rock is used daily by the City of DeKalb – Water Department as part of the water softening processes at the City’s five (5) water treatment plants. The City expects to use a total of approximately 1,450 tons of rock salt annually during the term of this contract. Specifications and all Contract Documents are available on-line on the City of DeKalb’s web page at www.cityofdekalb.com/bids. They may also be obtained from the City of DeKalb Water Department, 1216 Market St., DeKalb, IL 60115. All Bids must be sealed and clearly marked “clear southern rock salt bid” and received at the City of DeKalb, City Hall Building, Attn: Ruth Scott, City Manager’s Office, 164 E. Lincoln Hwy., DeKalb, IL 60115 not later than 2:30 p.m., October 6, 2020. All bids will be publicly opened immediately
