24-1556 Supply and Delivery Hydraulically Braked Medium Duty Chassis Cabs

1 - This RFP is open to all interested suppliers. 2 - The City of Calgary (“The City”) requires the supply and delivery of medium duty incomplete and complete chassis cabs with a single rear axle (“Units”) in the initial requirement is for various sizes and configurations on an as required basis. The City has a requirement for medium duty single axle cab and chassis for use by various internal customers in a wide range of Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (“GVWR”) configurations and applications depending on the type of deck, body or equipment installed on the chassis as outlined in the below schedules: •Schedule A1 – Conventional Cab with a GVWR of 7,257kg or less •Schedule A2 – Cabover with a GVWR of 7,257kg or less •Schedule B1 – Conventional Cab with a GVWR of 7,258kg – 8,845kg •Schedule B2 – Cabover with a GVWR of 7,258kg – 8,845kg •Schedule C1 – Conventional Cab with a Minimum GVWR of 8,846kg •Schedule C2 – Cabover with a Minimum GVWR of 8,846kg Upon requirement, The City will reach

out to each schedules Supplier to collaborate and finalize each Unit’s specifications prior to ordering to ensure accuracy prior to arrival on site. 3 - This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations. 4 - The Agreement will be for an initial term of two (2) year(s). The Agreement may be renewed, four (4) times for two (2) years each time, no more than ten (10) years in total. Contract duration The estimated contract period will be 120 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/08/01.
