The land has been allowed to rest for 4 years and has just been limed at 1.5 tons/acre. The rent will be $350 per year payable by April 15th each year. The Town will require cover crop to be applied to establish in time as this is a sloping field. No equipment to be left on the property after the season. The Town will receive proposals from 3-15-24 to 3-28-24 by 4:30 p.m. The proposal must list what you currently farm for crops and what type of use is planned, an inventory of equipment to be used on the property, and proof of insurance listing the Town as additional insured.
