Park Police Headquarters The scope of work for this Project entails the remodel of the existing facility. The entry lobby remodel includes security and service agents station, as well as elevator and lobby stair updates. The first-floor remodel includes reconfiguration of former assembly areas to men’s and women’s locker rooms, police roll call, body camera docking area, report writing room, fitness, and training spaces. The second floor consists of minor reconfiguration and re-finish of existing office space to accommodate police offices, HR, and conference/breakroom functions. Building systems remodel include upgrade of the existing HVAC system, plumbing, electrical/lighting, and new emergency generator. Remodel to the building envelope is limited to replacement of the first-floor windows with ballistic glass and replacement of the existing roofing system. Site work is minimal and consists of 4 new parking spaces and minor landscaping required to meet tree preservation and Landscaping Ordinances. The contract award for this project is tentatively scheduled for City Council consideration in September 2021. Construction is estimated to be completed in September 2022. Additionally, four (4) alternates are being proposed: 1. Upgrade finishes at 1st floor toilet rooms 2. Upgrade finishes at 1st floor corridor and stair 3. Upgrade finishes at 2nd floor toilet rooms 4.
