CONTRACT NUMBER: 15II-120A TITLE: Station Emergency Lighting PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING/FIRST SITE INSPECTION: September 17, 2019 PROPOSAL DUE DATE: October 15, 2019 ESTIMATED COST: $11,000,000 to $14,000,000 SUMMARY OF SCOPE: The work in general, consist of providing all labor, equipment, material and services to install all necessary appurtenances for installation and connection of a complete Central Emergency Lighting System consisting of one-third of existing lighting in dedicated conduit systems as Indicated. The work includes, but is not limited to, providing and installing battery room ventilation systems, batteries and corresponding battery racks, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (“USP”) and corresponding Maintenance Bypass cabinets (“MBC”), eye wash stations, circuit breakers, distribution panels, DC battery disconnect switches, unction boxes, pull boxes, conduits, wires, cables, wire fittings, asbestos abatements and accessories required to complete the installation. The Work also includes, but not be limited to, installation, wirings, labeling and commissioning of the Central Emergency Lighting System; power to all emergency exit signs, lighting calculations for all stations; training for BART personnel; electrical studies; remote monitoring systems in electrical room, train control room, including conduit, wiring and fiber optics where needed between the rooms as indicated; and As-Built drawings.
