The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (District) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Senior Project Planner in the Planning, Research and Sustainability (PRS) Division.  Reporting to the Director of PRS, this position will be primarily responsible for the management and implementation of the District's Working Soils Program® that aims to permanently protect privately-held working (agricultural) land through the purchase of conservation easements in the Milwaukee River watershed floodplain.  The Senior Project Planner will also coordinate conservation efforts with a variety of partners to prioritize and provide financial and technical assistance to agricultural producers in the Milwaukee River Watershed to reduce flood risks, improve water quality, promote soil health, and improve habitat for fish and wildlife.
