Disposition of Municipal Real Estate For Smart Growth Purposes 54 Osgood Street Methuen, MA PROPOSAL DUE DATE: 12:00 PM August 12, 2022 Return Proposals To: City of Methuen City Clerk’s Office (Customer Service) Searles Building, 41 Pleasant Street, Room 112 Methuen, MA 01844 The City of Methuen (the “City”) requests sealed proposals from responsive and responsible developers for the disposition and development of a .25+ acre lot located at 54 Osgood Street, Methuen, MA 01844 (the “Property”). Competitive SEALED proposals will be received by the Clerk’s Office, at the above-specified location, until the time and date cited. Proposals must be physically received and time stamped by the Clerk’s Office on or prior to the exact time and date indicated above. NO INCOMPLETE, FAXED, ELECTRONICALY MAILED, OR LATE PROPOSALS WILL BE CONSIDERED. A Purchase and Sale Agreement will be
negotiated with the highest ranked developer. If the required price cannot be met the city will initiate negotiations with the next highest ranked applicant. Full RFP is available by emailing Brian Keating at bkeating@ci.methuen.ma.us. The RFP will also be available on the city’s website www.cityofmethuen.net but all applicants should notify Brian Keating to be included on the Plan Holders list. All addenda, notifications, and answers to questions and requests for information regarding the RFP will be forwarded to addresses on the plan holders list only. All procurement activities conducted by the City of Methuen are in conformance with the rules and regulations of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30B. The City reserves the right to reject any proposal and to waive minor informalities or irregularities in any proposal, and to make an award in any manner consistent with the law and deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Methuen.
