Intent to Sole Source: OSU Newport Research Station Facility Support Services

The US Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Western Acquisition Division (WAD), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Oregon State University (OSU) using the procedures in FAR Part 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services in conjunction with FAR Subpart 13.5 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services., to provide facility support services at the Newport Research Station on OSU campus. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is FAR 13.501(a).The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 561210, with a business size standard of $41.5M.This notice of intent is not a formal solicitation or request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted.
