The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order with the large business American Medical Association (AMA). The procurement is for Annual Licensing for Physician Master Files access. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 519120. This access is for use by the VA Office of Primary Care s Primary Care Analytic Team (PCAT). AMA Physician File and Medical Student Files include current measures of physician and medical student training, type of practice, graduation dates, gender, birth years and graduate medical training. These will be used to compare the VHA s physician workforce, recruitment and retention compared to non-VHA physician workforce, recruitment and retention. This procurement is limited to one source in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Soliciting from a Single Source, as no other supplies with satisfy the Agency s requirement.
