This is a Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) for Paint Interior, Bldg. 714.This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is pursuant to FAR PART 10 in support of Market Research being conducted by 673 Contracting Squadron. This (SSS) is to identify potential sources to perform the subject project if or should the Government determine a request for a solicitation is required. This is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication that a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market research. No funds are available to fund the information solicited. Contracting Squadron is contemplating a construction award for painting the  interior of building 714. Should this become a solicitation preparations will include moving items as needed to paint wall surfaces, prep existing walls with spackle and caulking, spot prime repairs, and apply finish coats of paint to the existing walls. Contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and tools for painting the interior of building 714.In accordance with (IAW) FAR 36.204(a), Disclosure of Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated price range of this project is Less than $25,000.Should the Government determine this to become a solicitation, this will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside with a size standard of $15.0M.  Should/ if the Government determine this to become a solicitation, any prospective sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation package will be available only through Electronic Posting System (EPS). Paper copies and paper proposals will not be accepted. If a solicitation is posted, it will then become the responsibility of the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award.
