Description:Madison Public Schools is seeking a medical doctor to be the Medical Advisor for the Madison Public Schools starting on or about August 1, 2023. The purpose of the Medical Advisor is to provide guidance to the school district on matters of student health. These matters may include, but are not limited to:Providing guidance to the nurse coordinator and nurse staffWorking with the school team to develop accommodations for students with medical needsAssisting school district with interpreting doctor’s notes from studentsProviding guidance on safe health practicesSupporting the athletic department on developing and maintaining appropriate protocols ex. concussionsProviding guidance and education on different types of
