HSSD plans, develops, and oversees a comprehensive network of city-wide programs that provide immediate assistance and long-term solutions to meet the needs of those experiencing homelessness in the City. HSSD operates comprehensive network of city-wide programs that reflect a balance between providing immediate assistance and long-term solutions that meet the needs of those experiencing homelessness. As part of the City’s comprehensive approach to address homelessness, the City is seeking a contractor who will operate the Supportive Services and Tenant Based Housing Assistance Administration Program (Program) for the City of San Diego, funded through the State of California Encampment Resolution Grant. The Program will operate Monday through Friday and will provide services in alignment with Housing First principles. In alignment with regional goals, the Program will strive to make individuals’ experience of homelessness rare, brief, and non-reoccurring.
