The City of Cleburne is seeking quotes for the annual contract for Abatement Services administered by Cleburne Code Compliance. The City will abate high grass/weeds and nuisances on properties in violation of City ordinances. Properties may be assigned as a one-time abatement or may be added to a monthly mow list. The term of the contract will be from April 26, 2024 to December 31, 2024. With the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year terms. All abatements require written approval of Cleburne Code Compliance. Cleburne Code Compliance may add or remove properties from the monthly mow list as needed. All quotes should be emailed to purchasing@cleburne.net by April 19, 2024 at 2:00pm. Any quotes received after this time will not be considered. In accordance with Chapter 2271, Texas Government Code, a governmental entity may not enter into a contract with a company for goods and services unless the contract contains a written verification from that company that it: (1) does not boycott Israel; and (2) will not boycott Israel during the term of the contract. The person submitting a quote on behalf of company verifies that the company does not boycott Israel and will not boycott Israel during the term of this contract.
