The car manufacturers are constantly changing the parameters for government entities ability to purchase a vehicle from car dealerships. The evolving changes impacted State Agencies and Political Subdivisions to procure and/or receive vehicles such as sedans, SUVs, trucks, and vans. State Agencies and Political Subdivisions extended the life of certain vehicles because of their inability to procure and/or receive a replacement vehicle. Their inability to retire vehicles in a timely fashion resulted in increased vehicle maintenance costs. The following changes from car manufacturers substantially impacted
