APCO RT-7000 Radio Systems

 The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, on a sole-source basis, to Cobham Aerospace Communications (Chelton Avionics, Inc.), Prescott, AZ (CAGE: 1WZE2) for the manufacture of up to nineteen (19) APCO RT-7000 radio systems which will be comprised of the following components provided in the table below: NOMENCLATUREPART NUMBERRT-7000 Radio Receiver-TransceiverRT-7000RMR-010-001-0007-0004RF Limiter11867ALogic Converter153-040047-01SAR Antenna28-3000-1P24WB Antenna121-071673-02APCO Personality ModulesAMP-7000-001-001 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division AIRWorks C-27J Missionization Upgrade Project Team has been tasked by the United States Coast Guard to procure APCO RT-7000 radio systems which will be used to convert C-27J Cargo Aircraft into HC-27J Maritime Patrol Aircraft by installing up to nineteen (19)

separate systems/subsystems, thereby providing the vehicle with missionization capabilities to perform enhanced medium range surveillance and logistical missions.  Cobham Aerospace Communications (Chelton Avionics, Inc.
