The sum of a certified check, cashier’s check or draft or bid bond is a guarantee that, if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. Miscellaneous: The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to defer acceptance of any bid for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days after the date bids are received and no bid may be withdrawn during this period.
