CI 206, RFQ Early Childhood Education and Care Center

The Trustees of The California State University, through this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from interested and qualified design-builders (Respondents) to provide design and construction services for the above-reference Project. The Trustees will select a design-build team consisting of a general contractor and architect (Design-Builder) based on qualifications and proposed fees (a design competition is not utilized). This is a two-phased delivery process:  Design Phase, and Design-Build Phase, and there will be a separate contract for each phase.

The scope of design for the purposes of this RFQ is for an Early Childhood Education and Care Center with associated site and utilities work: see Article A1b for additional information on scope.  Project substantial completion is scheduled for June 2023 in preparation for full occupancy with furnishings by fall semester of 2023.  Refer to the RFQ document for further details.

Respondents shall be prequalified with the Trustees, and shall submit their prequalification application no less than ten business days prior to the SOQ submittal due date.
