Bids will be received until 4:00 p.m. eastern time, on Monday, April 1st, 2024, at the Franklin County Clerk's Office, Franklin County Courthouse, 33 Market Street, Suite 203, Apalachicola, Florida 32320-2317. Bids received after this time will not be accepted or opened. Bids will be opened and read aloud on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024, at the County Commission meeting at 34 Forbes Street, Apalachicola, FL. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked as a ‘SEALED BID, with bidder’s name, address/contact information, date and time of opening, Bid of the Franklin County Courthouse Renovations.’ DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Waterproofing of the building’s exterior by application of sealant, repairs of masonry joints, replacement of aged caulking, sealant of windows, repairs to roof drain structures and replacement of flashing, possible full replacement of roof membrane, and roof drains, concrete repairs, glazing of windows, some perimeter drainage improvements and other – see detailed bid specifications.
