Call for New Information State of Alaska Oil and Gas Lease Sales 2023 Alaska Peninsula Areawide

The State of Alaska, Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas (DO&G), will offerall available state acreage in the Alaska Peninsula Areawide oil and gas leasesale area, tentatively scheduled for the first half of 2023.DO&G requests substantial new information that has become available over the past yearconcerning these areas. Based on the information received, DO&G will either issue asupplement to the finding or a decision of no substantial new information for this lease sale(AS 38.05.035(e)(6)(F)).The most recent Alaska Peninsula final best interest finding was issued in 2014 and no supplement has been issued.The findings and supplements are located at:http://dog.dnr.alaska.gov/Services/BIFAndLeaseSaleDO&G generally considers “substantial new” information to be published research, studies, ordata directly relevant to the matters listed in AS 38.05.035(g) that has become publiclyavailable over the last year.
