Purchasing Agent City of Danbury Postponed / New Date TBD - Addendum #1 for Bid #11-19-20-01 “Heating Fuel – Public Buildings” For a copy of Addendum #1 for Bid #11-19-20-01 “Heating Fuel – Public Buildings” click here Postponed / New Date TBD - Addendum #2 for Bid #11-19-20-01 “Heating Fuel – Public Buildings” For a copy of Addendum #2 for Bid #11-19-20-01 “Heating Fuel – Public Buildings” click here 1/28/20 - Bid #11-19-20-03 “On-Call Services for Construction, Replacement and Repair of Sidewalks, Ramps for the Handicapped, Driveway Ramps and Curbing.” NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS ON-CALL SERVICES FOR CONSTRUCTION, REPLACEMENT AND REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS, RAMPS FOR THE HANDICAPPED, DRIVEWAY RAMPS AND CURBING CITY OF DANBURY PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT BID NO. 11-19-20-03 PROJECT NO. 19-25 The City of Danbury intends to establish a short list of contractors who will be available to construct, replace and repair sidewalks, ramps for the handicapped, driveway ramps, and curbing on an as
needed basis with short notice. The selected contractor(s) shall be required to furnish all equipment, tools, materials and labor incidental thereto. The term of service for the contract will be up to three (3) years, renewable on an annual basis for an additional 2 years, by mutual consent. There is no guarantee that any work specified herein will be awarded. The selected contractor(s) shall be required to provide a Certificate of General Liability Insurance on which the City of Danbury shall be named as an additional insured. The names and telephone numbers of at least five (5) references are to be provided along with a description of the work performed for each reference. A Performance, Labor and Material Bond will not be required to be provided for the execution of on-call contracts. Prior to the execution of a contract, each successful bidder will be required to provide the City with a letter of intent from its bonding company stating that the bidder will be able to acquire a Performance, Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of each awarded work order, if warranted, at the time a work order is issued. Interested contractors are requested to submit Proposals to the office of the Purchasing Agent, 155 Deer Hill Avenue, Danbury, CT 06810 during normal office hours by no later than 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 28, 2020.
