NAVFAC CHINA LAKE RECOVERY INDUSTRY DAY

 INDUSTRYDAYTHIS IS A SPECIAL NOTICE ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southwest, San Diego, California, is tentatively planning to conduct an Industry Day to discuss the status of our strategy and planning efforts for construction associated with the Earthquake Recovery Effort at Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake (NAWSCL), California.  NAWSCL is a large military installation located in Kern, San Bernardino, and Inyo Counties.  We intend to provide an overview of potential repair and replacement projects that have been approved and funded.  NAVFAC China Lake earthquake recovery Industry Day is tentatively planned for mid-December in San Diego, California.  More information regarding date, time and location of the event will be published when a MILCON Appropriation and/or Supplemental has been passed.  A NAVFAC POC will be identified for contractor RSVPs and questions at that time.  THE AFOREMENTIONED NAVFAC CHINA LAKE RECOVERY INDUSTRY DAY ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government.  This is NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT nor a Request for Proposals.  No proposals will be accepted as a result of this announcement.  No contract will be awarded as a result of this announcement.  No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with attending this NAVFAC Industry Day or providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests, should there be any.
