The NAICS code is 334510 with a small business size standard of 1250. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Mecta Corporation 19799 SW 95th Ave, Tualatin, OR 97062. Psychiatry Service needs to replace 2 ECT (Electroconvulsive therapy) machines. Machines shall be current MECTA Sigma models and shall have display screen to monitor trace configurations, four-channel, high resolution Chart Recorder that can be printed from the device, an Event Timer, and Elapsed Timer markers, Replay, print and save the last treatment to review, lead Impedance Test and the ability to monitor lead conductivity, and be Less than 30 pounds and footprint of no larger than 20 x 25 for ease of transportability and storage. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Friday August 20, 2021 at 2PM EST. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.  All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
