Painting services for various locations at the Har

This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and FAR Part 13, as supplemented with the additional information attached to this notice. The Social Security Administration (SSA) issues this solicitation for painting services for various locations at the Harold Washington Social Security Center in Chicago, Illinois. The period of performance is 180 days from date of award.SITE VISIT: A site visit will be held at the work location at 8:00 AM Central Time on July 20, 2021. If interested in attending the site visit, interested parties should indicate their intent to attend the site visit by submitting an email to Angela.Lee@ssa.gov no later than July 16, 2021 with the name and title of the company representative attending (limit of 2 persons per business concern). We will provide additional site visit information (i.e. precise location, security

information, directions, etc.) via email only to the list of interested vendors who properly notify the Contracting Officer of their intent to attend the site visit. For security reasons, individuals not on this list will not be granted access to the facility. This will be the only site visit scheduled. Photography or recording of any type is not permitted during the site visit. The purpose of this site visit is to allow potential quoters the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the worksite and satisfy themselves regarding the general and local conditions that may affect the cost of the requirement, to the extent that information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
