O. Box 1178, Billings, MT 59103), until 2:00 PM (MST) on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, April 16, 2024 and then publicly opened and read aloud via Facebook Live on the City’s Facebook page: Billings MT City Government. Bid tabulations will be posted for public viewing after the bids have been opened.The project consists of the pavement preservation of several downtown streets, including 2 nd Avenue North, 3 rd Avenue North, North 25 th Street, North 26 th Street, North Broadway, North 31 st Street, North 32 nd Street, North 33 rd Street, North 34
th Street, and North 35 th Street. The project also includes converting from one-way traffic flow to two-way operations, converting to back-in angle parking from front-in angle parking on all streets listed above, and adding cycle tracks to 3 rd Avenue North and North 31 st Street. Quantities for this project are approximately 112,000 square yards of pavement preservation, one new traffic signal installation, traffic signal removals at two intersections, signal equipment modifications at 18 intersections, miscellaneous concrete work (pedestrian ramps, curb and gutter, sidewalk, and median cap), pavement markings, signing, and other various items related to roadway restoration and two-way conversion.Complete digital project bidding documents are available at QuestCDN and are downloadable for a fee . All laborers and mechanics employed by CONTRACTOR or subcontractors in the performance of the construction work shall be paid wages at rates as may be required by the laws of Yellowstone County and the state of Montana. The CONTRACTOR must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or Bid Bond payable to the “City of Billings, MT” in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful BIDDERS shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The successful BIDDER(s) shall provide insurance as required, and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided.
