RFP Water System Operation and Maintenance Service

UPDATE 03/27/2024: There were no Questions for this Event. The County of Sonoma is pleased to invite you to respond to a Request for Proposals (RFP): Water System Operation and Maintenance Services. Sonoma County Public Infrastructure (referred to as the "County") is in search of a qualified water system operations firm (hereinafter referred to as the "Operator") to undertake the operation and maintenance responsibilities for five distinct water systems. This agreement is for a five-year term, with the possibility of two additional three-year extensions. Among these water systems, four are situated within County Service Area No. 41, encompassing Fitch Mountain, Freestone, Jenner, and Salmon Creek Zones of Benefit. Additionally, it is anticipated that West Water Company will be incorporated into County Service Area No. 41 within the next five years. QUESTIONS: Proposers will be required to submit any and all questions in writing per the schedule in order for staff to prepare written

responses to all consultants. Written answers will be shared with all potential bidders through an addendum on the County’s Supplier Portal and email notification. LIVING WAGE: The living wage rate required under the County’s Living Wage Ordinance (LWO) has increased. Effective January 1, 2024, the living wage rate required under the LWO shall be $18.10 per hour. The adjustment was adopted by the County’s Board of Supervisors on December 12, 2023, in accordance with Sonoma Municipal Code section 2-377(d). All covered employees must be paid at least the increased living wage rate. SUPPLIER PORTAL: Login to the County of Sonoma's Supplier Portal to view the Bid and all supplemental documents.
