Jasper Transit EV Bus Storage Facility

This RFP is an invitation by the Municipality to Proponents to submit Proposals for the construction of a new pre-engineered bus storage building approximately 25.2m x 16m in Size) with an attached office and storage space (approximately 6m x 16m in size). The grading of the existing gravel yard area to accommodate the new building is also part the scope of work. The EV bus charging assets and system will be provided at a later date by other parties but the electrical infrastructure is to be provided under this scope of work. The building is to be designed and constructed to be 15% more efficient than 2020 NECB requirements. The building must be built in such a way to accommodate a future expansion of the bus storage area. Substantial completion of the project is required by October 2025. The purpose of the Project is to complete the design, approvals, permitting, construction and related activities following the Municipality’s objectives and requirements, as set out in the Owner’s Statement of Requirements (Appendix D Attachment D.01), while allowing the Design-Builder room to innovate and achieve the best value for money.
