Description: The City of Charlotte's Office of Sustainability and Resilience is responsible for guiding the implementation of the Strategic Energy Action Plan (SEAP), which was adopted by City Council in December of 2018. SEAP goals are integrated across the City’s operations of 200+ municipal facilities, structures, and assets, with a range of uses including office, warehouse, storage, parking, vehicle maintenance, communication towers, and public safety. Currently, there are approximately 103 Level II and one DC Fast City-owned Electric Vehicle chargers installed across the city. The City is currently studying 850 additional vehicles for near-term electrification and associated infrastructure needs. The City is issuing this RFP for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) and Related Services to purchase EVSE hardware and cloud-based subscription services in support of the SEAP goals. While the majority of installed EVSE will be for fleet charging, there will be some need for publicly available chargers, which will require the ability to accept
