CITY OF ALLIANCE, OHIO LEGAL NOTICE BIDS Sealed bids will be received by the City of Alliance City Auditor, 504 E. Main St., Alliance, Ohio 44601 until 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 5, 2017, for lease of 18+ acres of tillable land in Lexington Township, Stark County, Ohio. The land is located in the NW Quarter of Section 14. Official Records Imaging No. 201611040044783 for the farming of commodity crops and hay for the period from the earliest possible date; providing the ordinance receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the members elected to Council, and shall take effect and be in force immediately upon the passage and approval by the Mayor. The lease will be for a 1-year period, with options to renew for additional 1-year periods for up to five years at the election of the City of Alliance. Bids will be opened and publicly read at 12:00 noon on Friday, May 5, 2017 at the City Administration Building, 504 E. Main St., 2nd Floor, Alliance, Ohio 44601. Bid

documents and specification may be obtained at the office of the Director of Public Safety and Service, 504 E. Main St., Alliance, Ohio 44601, or by calling (330) 821-3110 or can be found on the city website at www.cityofalliance.com. The specifications and advertisement for bid shall reserve to the City the right to change the scope of the program based on the bids submitted and the availability of the funds prior to awarding the contracts. Envelopes in which bids are submitted are to be plainly marked " LAND APPLICATION PROGRAM" in the lower left hand corner. The Board of Control reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all formalities, and will accept the bid considered lowest and best for the City of Alliance.
