First published Thursday, April 27, 2023 Project DescriptionProfessional Services Consultant (PSC) to provide Architectural and Engineering services for the replacement of mechanical equipment at College of Medicine West Tower located at 1853 West Polk Street, Chicago, Illinois. The PSC will provide full design services through completion of Contract Documents. The Professional Services Agreement includes Bidding, Construction Administration, On-site Observation, and Warranty phase services. The existing Anatomy Lab and associated Men's and Womens locker rooms are located on the 7th floor of the College of Medicine West Tower (CMWT). The mechanical equipment serving the lab is well past its useful service life. The scope of work may include, but is not limited to, demolition, removal and replacement of all HVAC equipment identified for this project, ductwork and piping connections, removal and re-installation of walls, structural members, etc. for equipment access, surface and finish

restoration of areas disturbed by work, installation of a new Tridium Niagara 4 DDC/BAS system and retrofitting the electrical distribution system to accommodate new equipment. The Anatomy Lab is an active space, and the project will be executed in phases to maintain proper ventilation. Each area of the building impacted by this work needs to remain fully functional and operational.
