Solicitation contact:Please log in to view Solicitation contact information Issuing agency:Collier County, FLSee other Solicitations by this agency Solicitation Comments: Car wash and detailing services for all County automobiles, vans and light trucks (up to and including one (1) ton), totaling approximately 800 vehicles annually. Services will be requested by the County staff on an as needed, when needed basis. No formal authorization is needed to perform the basic Car-Wash service. Any “Complete Detail” , “Interior/ Exterior Detail” services, or “A- La Cart services” must have written approval from Fleet Management or department Director /Superintendent (e-mails are acceptable). Vendors are required to have County employees sign a log and note their Vehicle #, employee ID # or SAP# for services rendered. Sample log attached to documents section in the bid / quote packet. Any hand- written logs must be clearly legible. Payment may be withheld or postponed if Fleet Management is

unable to identify any vehicles serviced. These itemized logs & Carwash invoices must be submitted Weekly to the Collier County Fleet Management Division 2901 County Barn Rd., Naples, FL 34112,and to fleetparts@colliercountyfl.gov & bccapclerk@collierclerk.com. Car Wash : This shall be the standard cleaning of a County vehicle under the scope of this quotation including external and undercarriage washing, towel dry, interior vacuuming of floors and seats, dusting of internal smooth surfaces, cleaning of internal window and mirror surfaces, emptying ash trays, and removal of all trash. This service must have an average completion time of not more than 20 minutes. Automated car washes must be capable of accommodating vehicles with roof-mounted strobe lights or light bars. Carpet Cleaning/Shampooing: Vacuuming, spot removal, and shampooing of front and rear carpets and front and rear carpeted floor mats (when equipped) of automobiles and light trucks. This includes carpeted trunks or rear cargo areas if equipped. Complete Detail: A “Car Wash” as defined in this paragraph, plus cleaning of all residues such as tar and tree sap from painted, chrome, and polished finishes; application of rubbing compound where needed to restore shine to painted surfaces; hand wax and buffed shine of all external painted, chrome, and polished finishes; shampoo and cleaning of internal floor and seat surfaces; and, application of Armor-all, STP (or product of equal quality) to all internal vinyl surfaces (except steering wheel) and to the outside sidewalls of exposed tires. External Detail: Same as Complete Detail minus internal floor and seat shampooing and/or cleaning. Interior Detail: Complete cleaning of all interior surfaces; including shampoo and cleaning of internal floor and seat surfaces and application of Armor-all, STP (or product of equal quality) to all internal vinyl, plastic and trim surfaces (except steering wheel).
