The Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific is issuing this sources sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement for Class VIIIA Medical Material Removal and Destruction services for US Army Medical Material Center, Camp Carrol, Korea. The contractor shall furnish all services of supervision, labor, tools, equipment, and transportation. The government will provide forklifts and forklift drivers for the purpose of loading medical material onto contractor provided vehicle. The intention is to procure these services on a competitive basis. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 562211. The Product Service Code is F108. The estimated period of performance consists of base plus 4 options with performance commencing in September 2019. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF POTENTIAL OFFERORS TO MONITOR THE GPE FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMMATION PERTAINING TO THIS REQUIREMENT.REQUIRED CAPABILITIESThe contractor shall be authorized and licensed by the ROK Environmental Law Office for the destruction of disposal of hazardous waste material. The company must have rotary kiln type incinerators in which its burning temperature is over 1,100 degrees centigrade and treatment capacity is over 2,000 Kg/Hr, 48,000 Kg/Day.Education: The Contractor shall ensure that all contract personnel providing services under this contract shall be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with all parties and other health care providers. In addition, if the position requires the use of computers, the contract personnel shall be computer literate.Experience: The Contractor shall provide a qualified on-site Project Manager (PM)/Alternate Project Manager (APM) who shall be responsible for supervising the overall performance of the work. The PM and APM shall be able to speak, read, write, and understand English pertaining to the performance of assigned duties. The PM shall have at least two (2) years of experience as a project manager on the same or similar projects related to this requirement. The APM shall be designated to act for the PM during PM's absence.
